Pilot manufacturing facility operational.

Our pilot facility in Edmonton is producing nanocrystalline silver and supporting product quality assurance and R&D work in-house. Operations are being validated to ISO and cGMP standards in preparation for clinical-grade output.

Antimicrobial activity replicated in peer-reviewed testing.

Independent testing published in the International Wound Journal documented log10 reductions of greater than 6 against S. aureus, greater than 7 against P. aeruginosa, and 5.0 against P. vulgaris. The data document the antimicrobial spectrum and potency of the nanocrystalline silver platform behind the Trivera™ wound dressing.7

How nanocrystalline silver compares to other silver treatments.

The foundational published comparison. Seven silver-containing products and two non-silver topical agents were tested against 17 clinically relevant microorganisms, using both zone-of-inhibition and time-kill kinetic assays. In the E. coli time-kill data shown in our comparison chart, nanocrystalline silver achieves a 6.1 log10 reduction, clearing the 99.99% kill threshold; the four other silver treatments charted (silver nitrate, silver sulfadiazine, Actisorb Silver, Silverlon) did not.
